Bike Store Doors

For cyclists who live or use communal spaces, finding a secure place to store a bike can be a headache. Unquestionably this has become more of a concern with the rise in bike theft. This is where Bike Store Doors come into play.

Bike locks can easily be cut on stands outside, subsequently leaving cyclists out of pocket and without a bike. Our secure Bike Store Doors are a great solution to keep bikes safe and secure inside a bike room.

Furthermore, our doors are built from durable high quality stainless-steel and are weather resistant. Alongside the door’s frame, we fit a lower solid anti-scuff panel. We install the anti-scuff panel because there is always the chance a bike wheel or foot may impact the door.

Security & Features

We fit our Bike Store Doors with an upper vision panel, made from secure anti-bandit glazing. This provides cyclists with not only light but natural surveillance. A solid metal bike room door is actually a security risk in itself. For example there is always the chance that someone dangerous is lurking either outside (or inside) waiting for a cyclist to appear. The vision panel reduces that threat, providing cyclists with a way to assess what is inside or out. Furthermore, the vision panel improves the look of the bike room, therefore the block as whole.

Weather resistance is often a key factor when it comes to the door securing a bike storage room. Often the room is outside and separate from a building, thus exposed to the elements. Other materials such as mild steel will suffer from rust due to exposure, ultimately leading to maintenance or even door replacement.

As with all of our communal entrances, our Bike Store Doors can come with a variety of locking options. An example of how cyclists can gain access is with a secured fob. Additionally, the doors are also eligible to be certified by our testing and accreditation partner LPCB at BRE. They are also approved and listed by Secured By Design.
