Interlocking Doors are our signature high security system perfect for Jewellers, luxury stores and other high value retailers. They have been specifically designed by our team to stop the threat of criminal tailgating and instore armed robbery.
The Interlocking Doors system is comprised of street facing security door, a small lobby area, and a second security door leading instore.
As part of our secure double door system, only 1 door can open at a time. This allows staff time to assess customers twice before letting them inside. Once through CCTV, when they are on the street, and a second time when they are in the lobby.
The doors are only controllable by shop staff. Customers are let in through a secure fobbing system, or via a discreet button behind the counter.

Interlocking Doors, also known as an airlock or a mantrap, has several possible configurations. It can either be comprised of 2 Swing Doors or 2 Sliding Doors. In addition, a combination of both swing and sliding doors is possible.
A very effective solution is to opt for a pair of Sliding Doors. Maximizing floor space, Sliding Doors are a great choice as a lobby area can therefore be narrower. This is because there is not a need to have space for a door to swing open into.
Made from a frame of premium grade stainless-steel, the exterior of a store is protected not only from armed robbers but the weather too. Stainless-steel, unlike mild steel, is highly durable and rust resistant.
Interlocking Doors, as with all our products, feature high security glazing prominently. The high security glazing we use is both bespoke and certified independently to our doors.
Locking options for airlock doors are similar to the specialist and bespoke choices we fit to our High Value Retail product range.
LPCB at BRE have tested and certified different components of our system up to LPS 1175 SR4. Furthermore, these parts of our airlock system are approved and listed by Secured by Design.
